We left New Orleans Monday morning and headed to Panama City to hit the beach. We ended up getting to the beach a little later than we wanted Monday late afternoon. That didn't stop us though. Jackson was so excited to see the beach for the first time. He kept saying that he was going to, "get some sand and get some water in my bucket". That is exactly what he did too! He was not interested in the ocean -- at all. In fact, he was adamant about not going in the water. We did get him in the water twice, but he made it clear that he wanted out of the water and back in the sand. He was as happy as could be just playing in the sand. He kept saying that he was making crawfish. . .

Jackson in the sand.

Daddy finally joined us on the beach and played with Jackson.

Jackson still playing in the sand.

Papa J watched Jackson so that Mama J and I could float in the waves. We love being in the ocean bouncing along in the waves (as long as they are mild waves -- no surfing for us).

We visited the beach Tuesday morning before we left for Orlando. Jackson sat in the sand for a couple of hours while Papa J watched him. Mama J and I floated in the water. Thomas had work to do, so he missed out on our second day at the beach.
Off to Orlando. . .
