Mickey Mouse's House

The day finally arrived. . . we were heading to MICKEY MOUSE'S HOUSE!! We were so excited! Jackson had been talking about going for months and months. We were finally there!

Thomas and Jackson get their first look at Main Street, USA. This was not only Jackson's first visit to Orlando, but Thomas' as well.

The family picture in front of Cinderella's Castle.

We went straight to the Dumbo ride per Jackson's request. Thomas was excited to ride his first ride at Magic Kingdom too.

Jackson had the biggest smile on his face! He took Dumbo all the way up and all the way down. He loved moving the lever to make Dumbo go up and down.
After Dumbo, we headed over to the teacups. Look who was in the teacups!! Alice and the Mad Hatter! How cool is that?!?

Jackson rode this ride with Mama J and Papa J. He turned them around and around and around. The child was not worried about spinning too fast!

The line was very short, so after Jackson's first ride, we hopped back in line for Jackson to ride again.

The crowd was very small in Fantasyland and we were able to hit all of the rides within less than a two hour time span. It was awesome and unexpected.

Next, Papa J took Jackson to the Sword and the Stone for a picture op.
Jackson began to pull the sword.
As he started to pull on the sword. . .

. . . the sword began to rise out of the stone!!!
Jackson didn't know what was happening! For that matter, we didn't either!

A "Dream Maker" came over and congratulated Jackson. She rewarded him with "Prince of the Day"! She gave him a certificate and a sticker to wear. She said that he was the only person that would pull the sword out that day!

Jackson waved his hand and the sword went back in the stone. How cool is that??

Jackson's "Prince of the Day" sticker.

Of course we had to take a break to have a ice cream novelty. Jackson loved it!

Jackson in his very own Mickey Mouse ears.
Jackson got into the parade this time! We ended up buying him a toy cell phone at Magic Kingdom because that was the only thing that he really wanted. He LOVED this phone. He kept holding it up and pretending to take pictures with his cell phone. (We think he learned to do this from Uncle Jonathan because neither Thomas nor I use our cell phone for pictures.)
After the parade, Jackson, Papa J and I headed back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. Mama J and Thomas stayed behind to ride more rides.
We headed back to the park after nap time for some more fun and festivities.
