Aggie Football Game

We found out that Mom and Dad were invited to sit in the President's box for the Aggie football game, so therefore, we had three tickets to the game to use. Jackson was getting to go to the game with Thomas and I! He was so excited! We had an extra parking pass in the garage right next to Kyle Field and were excited to get to park so close. As soon as we exited the garage, we could hear the crowd already gathering at Kyle Field along with the announcer. Jackson suddenly said, "Kyle Field is talking!! What is Kyle Field saying?" Isn't life through the eyes and ears of a two-year old so much fun? I had never thought about it that way, but Kyle Field DID sound like it was talking!

Jackson was so good during the game! He took in all of the sights and sounds. During the first quarter, the Aggies took a time-out. Jackson turned to me and said, "Time out!! What did the Aggies do?" I had to laugh at that one. I quickly explained that the Aggies were in trouble because they are not playing very well.

The highlight of the game was the Aggie Band. Jackson is infatuated with the Aggie Band. He soaked it all in. When we got home, he started marching around the house with instruments while singing, "Hullabaloo Caneck Caneck. . . ".

After the game, we had to go by E. King Gill. Jackson has learned all about E. King Gill from one one his board books that has a picture of the statue. He kept touching the statue and was highly disturbed that E. King Gill did not have his hat on!
