Aggieland

Friday, we drove to College Station to see my family and join in on the football game festivities. Saturday's game was extra special because the Aggies were playing Thomas' college, University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Jackson snuggles up to Uncle Jeffrey.

Mama J bought Jackson wooden cars at the craft fair on Saturday. Jackson had fun "vrooming" them around the kitchen!

Jackson looks at the brisket at the tailgate before the game. Jackson LOVES getting Papa J to open the BBQ pit so that he can see what is cooking. Papa J is a proud grandfather when Jackson says, "Yummy, yummy, yummy! Brisket!"

Jackson talks to Mrs. Diana.

Uncle Jonathan and Jackson horse around.

Papa J and I took Jackson by Kyle field for some of the pre-game festivities. It was past Jackson's nap time and he was really tired. He enjoyed looking at everything, but did not want to participate in any of the activities.

Jackson loves the Aggie band and can identify the War Hymn when it comes on. Every time he hears the War Hymn, he makes everyone stand up and hook up to "Saw".

Watching the Aggie Band. Whoop!

I bought Jackson his first official 12th Man towel. He enjoyed waving it.

Jackson found a new toy -- the cap on the water bottle. Who would have thought!?! He had so much fun trying to put it on and twist it tight. By the end of the tailgate, he finally had it -- somewhat. It was fun watching him try so hard to accomplish this skill.

Drinking water.

Mama J and Papa J point out the helicopters that were flying over Kyle Field.
