Mama J Saves the Day!

Mama J came to Plano to spend a little time with us. Thomas was especially excited to have her here to cook a home cooked meal for us! Jackson was excited to have her here to play with him. He adores his Mama J! He especially loved her reading The B Book to him. Jackson kept laughing every time she got to the end of a page.

As the week went on, we were VERY thankful for her timing. Jackson's ears began draining and needed to go to the doctor. Because both Thomas and I have new jobs, we don't have any vacation days. Mama J to the rescue! She picked Jackson up from daycare and took him to the doctor to get medicine.

That night, we had a water leak. Long story short, Mama J and Grandma house sat for us while the plumber came out. (Thomas and I were so thankful that they were willing to sit around for the plumber for us!) It turns out that we have a cracked pipe under the house. Yes, UNDER the house.
