Jackson was selected Leopard of the Week at the beginning of December. This is an award that every child does receive, but he was VERY excited that it was his turn! He had to create a poster and share it with his class. On Friday afternoon, all Leopards of the Week are announced at Hart Beat, which is similar to a pep rally for an elementary school. Thomas and Lauren came, and Mama J came up to cheer for him too. Jackson is so blessed to have her in his life! Dad's freshman bar-b-que class was scheduled to come to her house on the same day, and she still came because Jackson invited her. She left after Hart Beat to head to her house full of people. Too cool! He is a lucky boy to have so many people love and support him!

When Jackson's name was announced, half of the fifth graders jumped up and cheered for him!! That was really cool! I guess there are some perks to having your mom work at the school you go to! The fifth graders heard that he was Leopard of the Week, and decided to jump up and cheer for him. You can see one of them at the front standing cheering for him in the picture.
