The Adventure Ends

The plane rides home were without too much adventure. The most exciting part of the trip home was our flight from Chicago to Dallas. When we boarded the plane, we realized our seats were in FIRST CLASS!! We couldn't believe it!! We kept telling Jackson to enjoy it because he might never fly in First Class again!! We played with all of the buttons and loved laying our seats all the way back! Each of us selected a movie and enjoyed our 2 hour flight.

Daddy and Lauren in First Class.

Jackson in First Class.

What memories we created in just 9 days. Jackson still talks about Italy. It is funny to find out what all he remembers. He talks about the Coliseum, the Trevi Fountain, and he even mentioned one of the times that he got in trouble the other day! We loved seeing all of the sites and especially enjoyed the culture. We continue to have the Italian "bug" and have enjoyed adding new things to eat to our menu. We LOVE cantaloupe and prosciutto! We LOVE pistachios! We LOVE salami! And we also love pesto on fresh pasta!

We are also so grateful to my parents for giving us the wonderful opportunity to have this experience. They continue to be incredible role models to all of us. Thomas and I hope to be half the parents and grandparents that they are. We are so blessed to have a wonderful family that we enjoy being around, and are so active in our lives.
