Crawfish Boil

Since Thomas and I have known each other, Easter means crawfish time! It is his family's tradition to boil crawfish Easter weekend. Of course, we have continued this tradition. My Aunt Shirley, Grandma, and brother, Jeffrey came for the boil. My parents also were there, and joined us for Easter.

Jackson got to playing basketball while we all sat out in the yard. Honestly, we had put the goal up for months and months and finally brought it back out for him while we boiled. Jackson was REALLY good! We were shocked! He can dribble and make baskets! I finally remembered that they have a basketball goal at school. I guess he plays it a lot, because he was a little pro at basketball!

Everyone hung out in the yard while everything was cooking.


Grandma held Lauren most of the time. Lauren loved being cuddled!

Aunt Shirley pulled a crawfish out for Jackson. He was interested, but didn't want to get too close. . .


Finally, time to drop the crawfish in!

Everyone had a wonderful time, and of course we ate way too much!! When is Easter next year??
