How is it possible?? My baby is no longer a Kindergartener!! He is a First Grader! I taught first grade at the beginning of my teaching career, and it is surreal that my baby is about to be in first grade! The last several days of school were filled with excitement for Jackson. He had an award ceremony, and of course we had to have our neighborhood Last Day of School Water Extravaganza!!
The awards ceremony began with the kids singing some of their morning songs. (By the way, it was hat day at school for "Hats Off to Summer!" Jackson normally does not wear a hat to school!
Jackson received the award for "Biggest Imagination". I think the teacher knows him well! He had a great year and Kindergarten, and of course we all loved his teacher, Mrs. Walsh!
Then it was time for the Last Day of School Water Extravaganza!
We had pizza, games, and of course our water balloon fight!
Don't forget about the popsicles!
