After Thomas, Lauren and I finished seeing the museums, we headed back to the apartment to meet up with Papa J, Mama J and Jackson. The great news was that Papa J's Italian friends were helping us out! They had gone to the police station with Papa J to file a police report for the missing laptops AND they were helping us get our luggage! We were so excited! We had checked our baggage Friday morning, and five days later, we were finally getting our bags! Thomas went with Carolina (pronounced Car-o-lee-nah) to get our suitcases while we hung out at the apartment.

Papa J had fun making Lauren laugh.

With a fresh change of clothes, we hit the streets to look around and head to the Ponte Veccio. The gelato looked so delicious everywhere, I just had to take a picture of it.

Papa J and Jackson looking at the Ponte Veccio. Long story short -- The Ponte Veccio is a famous bridge that could only sell silver and gold because the butchers used to have shops on it and the noblemen were insulted by the smell. It still has gold and silver shops on it.

After looking at some of the sites at night, we headed to eat. Isn't this a charming tratatoria?? It was DELICIOUS too! Jackson had fun with the owners. They came up to him and started blowing bubbles. He was delighted!

After dinner, we headed over to the piazza that had the carousel. Jackson got to ride twice, and Lauren had her first ride with Papa J.

Jackson had fun on his second ride. I think a little jealousy set in because he didn't want to ride the horse the second time -- he wanted to sit on the bench like Lauren did!

The carousel.
Mama J also treated Jackson with a fun toy that spins in the air. Jackson still has fun with the toy!
