The Market in Florence

On Tuesday morning, we got up and headed to the market to see what it was like. Thomas and I were really interested in learning about the Italian culture and not just seeing all of the sites, so we were looking forward to this experience.

Right when we walked in, we saw this booth of nuts. Really pretty isn't it?

There were booths set up all around this indoor market. Some were meat booths, some were vegetables and fruit, and some were even pasta! Can you imagine being able to stop by something like this on the way home from work? You can pick up fresh pasta just like that!!

This was a meat and cheese booth. Look at all of the meat just hanging!

Jackson had so much fun looking at everything.

It was fun looking at the seafood. Of course, they had some different things that you can buy than what we would normally purchase like the octopus that Jackson is pointing to. We also saw lots of fish and things like squid too.

This was a cheese booth. Jackson got shy for the camera.
