We got up Friday morning and headed to the airport. Jackson got to ride the "choo-choo" one last time. He really loved riding the "train". We boarded the plane and he fell asleep before we even took off. Jackson woke up with an hour left in the trip and read a book and watched Elmo on Papa J's laptop.
Thomas met us at the airport. We were glad to see him! Mama J and Papa J hung around the house for a couple of hours and then headed back to College Station.
Jackson and I had so much fun on the trip. We will forever be grateful to Mama J and Papa J for giving us the experience. There were so many highlights of the trip, from the White House tour, to meeting the President(!), to touring D.C. itself, to the wonderful dinners, to Jackson learning about planes, trains, helicopters, and carousels. Thank you.
