On Wednesday, Jackson went to the ENT for a check up. The doctor's office is decorated in a Southwestern theme. They have a children's area that includes a tepee, a canoe, and a saddle on a stand type thing so that kids can sit on the saddle. Jackson remembered the saddle from our vacation to Bastrop. He kept pointing at it and saying, "Nay! Nay!" He also kept saying, "Papa? Papa?" I think because Papa J taught him about the saddle. He even remembered the stirrups and that his feet were supposed to go in the stirrups! At first, Jackson wouldn't let me put him on the saddle. After a while, he let me put him on it. He love it! I think he is ready to ride a horse now Papa J! OH - his ears were fine too!
After we got home from the ENT's, my friend Kipper from T.J. Lee came over. We went to lunch at Jason's Deli and then we sat around the house catching up while Jackson took a nap. When Jackson woke up, he and Kipper played with the football. He loved it!! We had a really nice time with Kipper.
Yesterday, Jackson and I headed to Grandma's for a visit. She made us lunch AND dinner! Thomas joined us for dinner. Jackson had so much fun with Grandma. He kept taking her around the house and outside to see the cows. Jackson insisted that Grandma take him to the fence so that he could get a closer look at the cows. He kept yelling, "MOOO!!! MOOOO!!" After a while some of the cows actually started coming our way! I guess Jackson was really communicating with them!! ;-) Grandma and Jackson also blew bubbles while swinging in the swing on the back porch. We had a nice time.
