Jackson's First Plane Trip

Jackson and I left for Washington D.C. Tuesday morning with my mom and dad. Thomas took us to the airport. It was really hard leaving him behind on a family trip (he couldn't get off of work).

I was a little nervous about how Jackson would handle his first plane trip. Before loading the plane, Jackson got to watch the planes take off. He was facinated! He quickly learned how to say the work "airplane".

We loaded the plane, got settled, and took off. Jackson looked out the window the entire take-off. He didn't cry the entire time. He did bounce laps from Mama J to Papa J back to me. Eventually, he snuggled into Mama J's lap and fell asleep. He even slept through the landing!

After landing, we took the Metro to the hotel. Jackson LOVED the "train" or "choo choo"!
